Child & Αdolescent Psychiatrist, Sant Joan de Deu Hospital, Spain 

Dr. Insa has been developing her career as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital since 2010, focusing her interest on neurodevelopmental disorders. It is in this area that she focused her doctoral thesis, entitled “Analysis of the parental psychopathology of children with ADHD”. For several years, she worked as a psychiatrist in a community child and adolescent health center, where she was the referent clinic in Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as the psychiatrist in a public special education school.

Since May 2021, Dra Insa Works in an Educational Therapeutic Unit called Acompanya’m. This Program is a pioneering service shared between the Health departments and the Department of Social and Family Services, together with the collaboration of the Department of Education. This program cares minors with severe mental disorders and high psychosocial vulnerability, in a comprehensive model covering all areas in life. Parallel to the clinical activity, she has contributed at a scientific level by participating in research projects, several of them through competitive grants. She has published different articles in specialized journals with impact factor and has participated in national and international Mental Health Congresses.
