Just Human
What gives meaning to our lives? What separates man from machine? How much can artificial intelligence really contribute to meeting our needs? American choreographer Beth Corning comes to the SNF Nostos with Just Human, a dancetheater production that explores the most vital needs of mankind, and how artificial intelligence might meet them—or might not.
The creator of The Glue Factory Project award-winning series of dancetheater performances featuring artists over the age of 40, original productions that explore universal anxieties of aging, race, and gender, is bringing her forward perspective, rich movement, and trademark humor to Greece.
In 30 minutes, the choreographer, along with five other acclaimed “mature” dancers, traverses the landscape of human interactions. Through choreography and theater techniques, dry wit and pathos, this mature group of “humans” travel the well-worn path of joy, fear, and desire, seeking answers to critical questions of our time.
Just Human was created through a commission from the SNF Nostos.
