Eleanor Friedberger

Summer Nostos Festival hosts at GNO’s Alternative Stage the talented Eleanor Friedberger, in a show that covers her entire discography.

The singer and songwriter made her first steps into the music scene together with her brother as The Fiery Furnaces duo until 2011, when she decided to embark on a solo career. Since then she has released three albums in 2011, 2013 and 2016.

Her latest album, titled New View, includes songs recorded live with simple instrumentation - drums, bass, Wurlitzer and acoustic guitar - accompanied by her melodic voice, while maintaining the indie-rock elements of the music that distinguished her.
